The High Sheriff of Greater London asks you to note and support the work of these organisations:

Feltham Community Chaplaincy Trust provides relationships which give support and encouragement, helping young men build on positive commitments made in custody and so avoid crime.

Fine Cell Work provides creative and beneficial embroidery work for prisoners which can be bought by the public.

Koestler Trust has been transforming lives through awarding, exhibiting and selling artworks by offenders, detainees and secure patients for over 50 years.

London Youth Support Trust (LYST) supports young disadvantaged entrepreneurs, including those released from prison, who aspire to set up a business.

Only Connect provides a group of crime prevention programmes working across London.

Pact supports prisoners and their families in making a fresh start to minimise the harm that can be caused by imprisonment on offenders, families and communities.

Prisoners' Education Trust provides educational opportunities for men and women in prison to help make a positive change in their lives.

Prison Fellowship is a Christian organization helping prisoners through restorative justice, letter writing programmes and Christmas presents for families.

Shannon Trust helps prisoners learn to read.

St Giles Trust is staffed by ex-offenders who help other offenders break the cycle of offending.

William Wilberforce Trust works through the local church to confront injustice and poverty and care for those in need. It cares for those caught in debt, homelessness, addiction and unemployment, including many ex-offenders, and runs courses to help them.

Victim Support is a national charity giving free and confidential help to victims of crime, witnesses (through Witness Service in every criminal court), their family and friends.

Volunteer Police Cadets is a uniformed voluntary youth organization, supported by The Metropolitan Police Service, open to young people aged 13-18 from across all Londonís communities, irrespective of their background or financial circumstances, including those vulnerable to crime or social exclusion.
