‘A Year Like No Other – West Sussex in the Covid-19 Pandemic’  by Dr Tim Fooks.

In 2020, Dr Tim Fooks became the first medical High Sheriff of West Sussex and immediately his plans were disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic. As the crisis developed,  Tim documented the experience of the criminal justice system, the emergency services and voluntary sector in a weekly column he wrote for the Sussex newspapers.  His book, ‘A Year Like No Other’ is a compilation of these articles and it includes contributions from other leaders in the county.  As such, it provides a unique insight into the impact of the pandemic, with all its twists and turns, during the year.
